Software Configuration

In this section, we present illustrated, step-by-step instructions for setting-up Windows-based computers for TDE dial-up service, as well as setting-up a selection of popular Internet software. These instructions were designed for Windows users only; directions for Mac users are not yet provided here.

For e-mail software configuration related to the mail system upgrade of December 2003, please choose your e-mail software below. You may choose the E-mail Settings option if you do not need to be walked through the setup, or if you do not see your e-mail client listed.

For assistance in setting-up Windows-based dial-up networking, please select your Windows operating system from the following choices. (Don't know your operating system version? Right-click the "My Computer" icon on your desktop, and select "Properties.")

If you are finished with the initial setup and would like to proceed to set up your e-mail, or if you would just like to check your e-mail settings, please choose your e-mail software below. You may choose the E-mail Settings option if you do not need to be walked through the setup, or if you do not see your e-mail client listed.
