E-mail Settings

If you're using e-mail software other than the ones we have provided step-by-step instructions for, you may use the following information to configure your software:

General

• Case Sensitivity:
  Please note (very important)... User names and password are always lower case.

Servers

• Incoming Mail Server:
  

  If you do not have your own mail domain (e.g., youraddress@tde.com):	pop.tde.com
  If you have your own mail domain (e.g., youraddress@yourdomain.com):	pop.yourdomain.com

  
  
• Outgoing Mail Server:
  

  If you do not have your own mail domain (e.g., youraddress@tde.com):	smtp.tde.com
  If you have your own mail domain (e.g., youraddress@yourdomain.com):	smtp.yourdomain.com

Authentication

• Incoming Mail Server User Name (Account Name):
  Your full e-mail address.
  
  
• Password:
  Your regular e-mail password.
  
  
• SMTP Authentication / Authentication Allowed / My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication:
  Enabled.
  
  
• Secure Password Authentication:
  We do not use this. The box should be unchecked if asked.
  
  
• DNS Settings:
  Most users won't need to supply these. If needed for your configuration, here are current DNS addresses for TDE:
